The Geek Bar is an amusing-looking disposable vaporizer designed to look like some kind of space-age, futuristic capsule. Made of glossy, rigid plastic, the external colors are subdued and reveal the flavors. Depending on the mode you’re vaping in, the screen below the transparent side panel with the black backdrop illuminates to show various “cosmic-style animations.” Although you can’t turn off the screen lights and I find it a little too toy-like, I think Geek Vape did a good job of creating the atmosphere they wanted.
The body has an off-set “bite-friendly” mouthpiece and resembles a rounded box mod. Unlike many rubber mouthpieces, this one is made of hard rubber and doesn’t feel cheap or porous.
How Does Geek Bar Flavors Hit?
The Geek Bar Pulse Vape has a dreamlike effect. It is really smooth, warm, silent, and quick. The dual-core CPU of the Geek Bar Pulse triggers the dual coils so that they fire one after the other. I just evaluated another disposable that does the same thing, but instead of making a loud on/off sound as the coils alternate, the Pulse creates no sound or sensation. It’s smooth again!
Compared to some other disposables, the throat hit is less noticeable, maybe due to the more ample airflow. You can feel a chest fullness of the hit that is equally pleasurable even though there isn’t much throat hit in the conventional sense. A word of caution, though: if you’re used to removing tootle-puff tokes from an MTL device, the hit in pulse mode may be too much to swallow. A strong vaporous hit of a confined lung hit may make you feel a little woozy, but keep in mind that this is only 5% nicotine. Go slowly.
I’ll take a chance and say that out of all the disposables I’ve tried, the Geek Bar Pulse has some of the nicest flavor. Though not particularly complicated, the majority of the flavors are completely developed, sweet, and sparkling. There are candy and fruity flavors in the catalog, but there are sadly no desserts at all. It’s possible that the flavor it creates is superior to the flavor lineup. While some of the flavors are exceptional, others are merely passable.

The vape time in regular mode is comparable to that of other devices with 650 mAh batteries. The Geek Bar Pulse charges rapidly, which is fortunate. You won’t have to guess how much battery charge is left till the charge is finished because the battery readout on the screen indicates the percentage the charge is at.
The Bottom Line
The raving Geek Bar Pulse reviews turned out to be nothing more than hype. It’s a very fantastic disposable. The entire quality of the vape, flavor, and functionality are excellent. These gadgets have many positive aspects, but my biggest complaint is that they appear overly toy-like. I believe that using all black (or all white) may have produced a similar space-age capsule look. I still find it difficult to draw any conclusions from these vapes, though.
