You’re betraying yourself if you’re a throwaway vaper and haven’t checked out the Geek Bar brand.
Geek Bar’s lovely packaging and delicious flavors have made them one of my favorite throwaway products in recent years. They have been continuously pushing the limits of how many puffs a disposable can produce, though, which is another reason. Even the most dedicated vapers can use their newest Geek Bar Skyview vape for days or even weeks at a time because they can produce up to 25,000 puffs.
Alert: Before we embark, we request minors and non-puffers to keep off! Nicotine is addictive and harmful.
Geek Bar Skyview has a 1.8″ TFT screen, three output modes, and separate airflow adjustment. The 16ml of e-juice is vaporized by the alternating twin mesh coil within each one, providing up to 25,000 puffs per device.
Geek Bar Skyview Design Detail
The Geek Bar Skyview has a huge, rectangular body made entirely of plastic. Its rounded corners and sides give it an exquisite appearance, but when you take it in your hands, you’ll find that it’s actually fairly big and heavy. It appears thinner and lighter than it actually is! It’s not a device I can palm because it’s 100mm tall (including the mouthpiece), 53mm wide, and 28mm thick. I also remember that it weighs 105g and that I have it in my pocket.
Every taste has a little opalescent finish with a varied tint. In addition to having a gradient from a solid hue at the top to more white down the bottom, the paint has a hint of gloss and sparkle.
Every time I held one hard, I realized that the Skyview was entirely comprised of plastic. The front and rear panels have a lot of flex, and every time I hold it too firmly, it produces a crunching, mushy sound. Not really encouraging for confidence.
The durability of the black plastic covering the screen is another problem I have. Simply from daily use, it becomes easily scratched and scuffed, giving the item a worn-out appearance. When the screen is off, the scratches and scuffs are clearly visible, yet when it is on, this has no effect on visibility.
The flavor is printed on the bottom front of the Skyview, while the GEEK BAR emblem is displayed on the top front. The back features a small GB logo near the bottom and a large Skyview logo near the top.
Geek Bar Skyview Features
The Skyview’s huge 1.8″ TFT display is its primary feature. Until you vape or click the button, it is concealed and essentially invisible; after that, it comes to life in full color.
The mode and wattage are located inside a large circle that takes up most of the display. Pressing the button at the bottom of the Skyview will change the mode. There are three modes:
- Soft: 12W
- Typical: 18W
- 25W pulse
Up to 25,000 puffs are possible with the Skyview, but only when using soft mode. There is no additional information available regarding the number of puffs that the other modes will provide, but if I had to guess, I would estimate that the usual mode will provide about 20,000 puffs, while the pulse mode will provide 15,000. It makes likely that the Skyview would fall within the same range as the Pulse X, which is between 15,000 and 25,000 puffs.
The screen turns to an animation of a big spinning ball with lightning emanating from it when you vape. I think it resembles a spinning star, which would sort of fit with the name Skyview, but who knows!
Best-Selling Geek Bar Skyview Flavors
Geek Bar Skyview Cherry Strazz
Along with the equally sweet strawberry and tart cherry flavors, I’ve been loving this flavor. The inhale begins with a strong, sweet cherry flavor that blends with a sweet strawberry flavor before ending with a cherry aftertaste that lingers. This is one of the greatest flavors I’ve tested for the Skyview, along with Peach Raspberry.
Geek Bar Skyview Peach Blue Slushy
Indulge in a refreshing blend of juicy sun-ripened peaches and a chilled blue raspberry slushy. The sweetness of ripe peaches perfectly balances the tart, candy-like zing of blue raspberry, creating a smooth and invigorating vape. With an icy exhale that enhances the fruity medley, this flavor delivers a cool, refreshing sensation that keeps your taste buds craving more.
Geek Bar Skyview Sky Walker
This mysterious and captivating blend combines fruity, icy, and slightly candy-like notes, delivering an otherworldly vaping experience. Each puff takes you on a flavor journey filled with depth, complexity, and an ultra-smooth finish. Whether you’re a fan of bold fruity fusions or prefer a hint of menthol coolness, Sky Walker keeps you guessing while keeping you satisfied.
Geek Bar Skyview Strawberry Banana
Although it’s not particularly chilly or frosty, this is one of the few ice flavors that Skyview offers. With just a tiny bit of chilling, this flavor includes a banana component that makes it taste like a strawberry-banana. You should try this flavor if you enjoy creamy strawberry and banana flavors, but don’t expect it to be overly chilly.
Geek Bar Skyview Sour Watermelon Blue Razz
The sour watermelon and blue razz flavors are weak and difficult to taste while vaping, however, this flavor is delicious, and I really enjoyed smoking on it. My main impression of this flavor is one of sweetness and a faint fruitiness. To really stand out, the fruit flavors in this need to be emphasized.
Conclusion
As I indicated at the review’s start, I still think the Skyview is superior to the Pulse X in a few aspects, but I wouldn’t exclude the Pulse X entirely.
In addition to providing three output modes, rather than the Pulse X’s two, the Geek Bar Skyview Disposable excels at separate airflow and wattage changes. Additionally, the design makes it a little less noticeable. Despite having a large screen, it lacks the glitz and glamour of the Pulse X’s “starry display.” The flexible body, “crunchy” screen, easily scratched display, and other minor details like the mouthpiece’s all-plastic construction without a silicone coating are the areas where the Skyview’s build quality is lacking compared to the Pulse X. You can call me fussy, but I’m being honest!
